At Field Day, we believe it should be easy for anyone to discover and get involved with nonprofits in their community. Our priority is to turn good intentions into action.

✨ Everyone joining Field Day agrees to help us keep this community strong by following these guidelines.

Participate with integrity and authenticity

All users should be open about who they are, their intentions, and their affiliations. All individual, nonprofit, and Team information should be accurate and truthful.

Post activities and events that are appropriate for the purpose of Field Day. All activity and event descriptions should be accurate so users can make informed decisions about their participation.

Foster valuable interactions

Posts and messaging should be relevant to the activity, event, or volunteers. Use kind language to foster meaningful and genuine interactions.

When planning Field Trips, use respectful language and be mindful of workable timelines and volunteer requirements.

Act with courtesy and respect

Help keep each other safe by being lawful and respectful. All users should take ownership of their personal safety and the safety of those around them. Users should never put themselves or others in danger.

All users should always be mindful of privacy and use discretion when sharing any content that belongs to themselves or others. Field Day defines consent as welcomed communications and actions to engage. If ever in doubt, ask permission.

Maintain inclusive spaces for connection

All are welcome. Positive interactions define who we are as a community. All users should make choices that champion inclusivity, respect, and safety.

Be kind to each other. We come together with the same goal in mind: to connect with and do good in our community. Everyone has the right to learn, connect, and participate on Field Day.

Contribute to the positive

When responding to surveys following an event, keep feedback friendly and constructive. Feedback should focus on an event or activity, not directed at individuals. Comments should be useful, informative, and clear.

And of course, if something happens, good or bad, we want to hear about it. Your feedback is important to us as we build the Field Day community.
