Field Day offers discovery tools for users to explore volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and local nonprofits. With Field Day, you can foster social connections with your broader community by participating in a number of ways.
What to expect
On Field Day, there are a few ways to get involved, depending on whether you're an individual volunteer or part of a Team. You can filter for a specific metro area in the Field Trip catalog, Community calendar, and nonprofit list. By default, Field Day will filter for events in the metro area you select in your user profile settings.

If you don't have an account on Field Day or aren't on a Team, you can still preview volunteer activities for Teams on each nonprofit profile.
Explore nonprofits
To view all of the nonprofits on Field Day, click explore nonprofits in your navigation sidebar. From here, you can click on a nonprofit to learn about the nonprofit's mission, programs, volunteer activities, and upcoming events.

Click an activity card to find out more about the volunteer opportunities available to Teams.
Scroll to the events section to view the upcoming events open to volunteers. Click on an event to view the event page, where you can find all of the event details and register to volunteer.
Volunteer
To view all upcoming volunteer events on Field Day, click volunteer in your navigation sidebar. From here, you can see all upcoming events in the Community Calendar.

Plan a Field Trip
Teams can click Plan a Field Trip in the navigation sidebar to view volunteer activities available for Field Trips (Team events). On this page, Teams can view the Field Trip catalog to browse all available Team volunteer opportunities posted by nonprofits.
In the catalog, view a quick description of the activity and details to help with Team planning. Click on an activity card to view all activity details, Field Trip planning information, upcoming events for this activity, and start planning a Field Trip.
